A pair (male & female) of monarch butterflies, latin name Danaus plexippus. The frame dimensions are 1 1/2"x6 1/2"x9 1/2", and is 3/4" thick. The wood used is red oak, and is stained with a color called golden oak. Comes with butterflies mounted with clear silicone, between two spaced pieces of glass. Attached is a sawtooth hanger on the back, but is stable enough to free stand on a table or shelf.
